Renee Genther RN, ARNP-BC, OCN received her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Florida and is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Oncology and is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  Mrs. Genther is also certified in oncology nursing through the Oncology Nursing Society. Mrs. Genther completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at Grand Valley State University in Michigan.  She also holds a bachelors degree in Business Marketing from Richard Stockton State College in New Jersey.  Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner Mrs. Genther had been the lead clinician for Ocala Oncology’s clinical trial research department for two years. She is now an active sub-investigator with several US Oncology trials and remains active in research with her fellow practitioners.  Ocala Oncology is very active in providing the community with the latest chemotherapy trials for cancer research.

Mrs. Genther’s role at Ocala Oncology is assisting her fellow practitioners in managing oncology and hematology patients care throughout diagnosis, treatment and management.  Her clinical interests include patient education, cancer research, genetics counseling, and management of treatment side effects and maintenance of patient quality of life. With her degree in Business Marketing from Richard Stockton State College in New Jersey, Renee will also take a lead role in community education for the prevention, detection, and cancer treatment options available for the Ocala community.

Mrs. Genther is married with two children and is an active participant in the growth of healthcare services in the Ocala area.
